질본 "코로나19 확진 의사는 위중 상태..사망 아냐"

신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 지역거점병원인 1일 오전 대구 중구 계명대학교 대구동산병원에서 근무 교대를 하기 위해 의료진이 병동으로 들어가고 있다.

대구 지역 50대 의사가 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19)으로 숨졌다는 언론 보도는 사실이 아닌 것으로 확인됐다. 현재 이 환자는 위중한 상태로 아직 치료를 받고 있다.·

질병관리본부 중앙방역대책본부(방대본)는 2일 "해당 환자분의 경북대 담당교수에게 이날 3시께 확인한 바로는 현재 위중 상태"라고 밝혔다.

경북대병원도 이날 "코로나19로 숨졌다는 50대 의사는 현재 위중한 상태로 사망자는 아니다"라고 했다.

A씨는 개인병원 내과의사로 지난달 19일 코로나19 확진 판정을 받았다. 또한 외래 진료 중 확진자와 접촉해 코로나19에 감염된 것으로 알려졌다.

현재 A씨는 경북대병원에서 코로나19 위중환자로 분류돼 치료를 받고 있다.

또 A씨는 CRRT(continuous renal replacement therapy·지속적신대체요법 즉 체외 혈액정화요법의 하나로 주로 급성신부전 등의 중증 환자에게 24시간 연속으로 혈액에서 수분제거, 전해질균형 보정, 노폐물 제거를 시행하는 방법) 치료를 받았던 것으로 전해졌다.

대구지역 코로나19 의료진 감염자는 모두 121명(의사 14명, 간호사 56명, 간호조무사 51명)이다. 이중 위중환자는 1명, 중증환자는 1명이다.
